Where is The Light Loft Studio located?

The studio is based in Annandale (Sydney Inner West), near Glebe and just a short drive or ride from the CBD. You'll find ample street parking nearby.

We recommend the surrounding streets for best parking. Please note Pyrmont Bridge Road is a clearway 6am-10am and 3pm-7pm.

What types of services does your studio accommodate?

The Light Loft studio hire is perfect for a variety of creative needs: campaign, lookbook, product, e-commerce, social media content shoots, personal branding, portraits, influencer and brand activations, as well as intimate creative events or showings.

What are your booking options?

You can hire The Light Loft Content Studio by the hour, for a half day, or a full day—whichever suits your project timeline and budget.

What equipment and amenities are included with a booking?

Your booking includes access to our 60 sqm, east-facing Studio Space with soft natural daylight, a 2.7 m paper backdrop, Godox AD400Pro with softbox and stand, three-seater boucle sofa, multiple mirrors, tables, accent M-chair, makeup chair, and more; designed to support flexible, creative sessions. We have air conditioning.

The studio is located on the first floor, there is access to toilets on the same level.

Is there natural light at the studio?

Yes—our studio features expansive floor-to-ceiling east-facing windows, offering consistent, flattering soft light throughout the day.

Can I bring my own lighting and gear?

Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring your own lighting, props, or equipment. Just be mindful and respectful of the space and existing set-up.

Is it okay to play music?

Our studio is located within an office building, so we kindly ask that from Monday to Thursday (during business hours), you keep noise at a reasonable level to respect neighbouring businesses.

If your session calls for extra energy, louder music, or a more vibrant atmosphere, we recommend booking on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, when higher noise levels are more suitable.

Are you Slani Studio?

The Light Loft is at the same location and yes, we took over from Slani Studio. Slani Studio was established in 2023 as the go-to content studio for natural light in Sydney. In September 2025 we took over the space and now operate under the name The Light Loft. Same location, safeguarding the vibe you love with new additions and a new name!

What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

You may reschedule up to 48 hours before your booking without penalty. Changes made within that timeframe may receive studio credit or a partial refund, while cancellations under 48 hours are non-refundable.

If you purchase our 5-Packs or 10-Packs, once purchased the Pack is non refundable. The individual sessions can be rescheduled in line with our 48 hour policy above.

Are cleanup and setup times included?

All Studio Hire Bookings include bump in and bump out! Please allow time for your setup and cleanup within the time booked, especially during shorter sessions, to avoid any inconvenience or overage charges

Is the space suitable for small launch events or showings?

Definitely—The Light Loft makes a stylish venue for small creative events, showings, or brand activations. The flexible, minimalist design adapts beautifully to intimate gatherings.
